NEXT ALTERNATIVE RECEIVES ABORIGINAL STATUS - download INAC correspondence

(Ottawa, Ontario) Robert Ireland, CEO of Next Alternative, Inc. (NAI), is proud to announce that the firm has recently been awarded Aboriginal Status by the Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC).

NEXT ALTERNATIVE AFFILIATE RECEIVES MAJOR GRANT
FOR CONTINUED RESEARCH OF NANO-TECHNOLOGY

(Ottawa, Ontario) Robert Ireland, CEO of Next Alternative, Inc. (NAI), is pleased to announce that Dr. Omar Ramahi, a Professor at Waterloo University who is working with the firm’s chemists, has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).

The grant is specifically for harvesting electromagnetic energy in the micro-wave and infra-red spectra. Dr. Ramahi noted that photovoltaic-based technology, while very popular, is limited to the direct availability of solar rays, while the non-visible spectrum is available day or night. This provides a greater possibility for harnessing more energy and using it for a variety of applications – most importantly for NAI, in recharging batteries remotely.

Dr. Ramahi has relayed that the current objective is to construct a prototype, scalable electromagnetic radiation (EMR) harvesting device to operate initially within the micro-wave regime and eventually translate the technology to the infra-red regime. Next Alternative realizes that delving deeper into this fascinating process and developing proprietary technology will be vastly important not only to the company, but to Canada as a whole.

According to Ireland, “This grant awarded by the NSERC clearly shows the relevance of NAI and Dr. Ramahi’s work.” He continued, “It’s very exciting to be discovering new and better ways to garner energy. The impact and benefits of this research will be felt on a major scale.”

NEXT ALTERNATIVE TO COMPLY WITH NEW
REGULATIONS OF FRANKFURT STOCK EXCHANGE

(Ottawa, Ontario) Robert Ireland, CEO of Next Alternative, Inc., is pleased to announce that the firm will take all the necessary steps to adhere to the new terms and conditions of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

In 2011, requirements of the First Quotation Board (FQB), a financing segment, were tightened in order to protect the capital market and in particular, the investors, as well as to impede market manipulation and fraud. Even so, there were still cases of suspected manipulation. Therefore, Deutsche Borse has chosen to discontinue the FQB in its present form and only the companies that fulfill new stringent corresponding requirements will be allowed for inclusion via one of three segments. These segments are Prime Standard and General Standard in Regulated Market and Entry Standard in Open Market. NAI already adheres to the requirements and did qualify for Entry Standard, but has since chosen to remain in Open Market, First Quotation level.

These tighter regulations will lend to enhanced transparency and the overall efficiency of the market, thereby ensuring continual raising of capital and tradability of securities. Final implementation of the new market segment is expected to take effect end of third quarter 2012.

According to Ireland, “Next Alternative is fully behind the initiative to further regulate the trading process.” He continued, “The new criteria will protect companies and investors alike. We intend to fully comply and easily meet the requirements, in order to better serve our stakeholders while supporting the continued strength of the market as a whole. Right now, we practice all criteria to meet entry standard level so that we can move our way up on the board”

Alsace International provides a variety of services to companies wishing to enter new markets in France or other European regions. Through its network of partners, Alsace International advises on strategic options, location searches, special funding and other elements critical in such a venture.

NEXT ALTERNATIVE IN POSITION TO AID
AS GERMANY SHUTS DOWN NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS

(Ottawa, Ontario) Robert Ireland, CEO of Next Alternative, Inc. (N4H.XETRA), has relayed that reports citing Germany’s refusal to use nuclear energy, has brought about an immediate need for alternative fuel solutions.

In light of the crisis in Fukushima, Japan, Germany has quickly and permanently shut down eight of its nuclear power plants and will be closing the remaining nine plants in stages through 2022. While the threat and fear of disaster is understandable, the plans to turn back solely to coal and gas will never allow the country to adhere to its self-imposed goals. As announced by Chancellor Angela Markel at the Heiligendamm Summit, Germany has dictated that it would reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2020.

Next Alternative development of a new Emulsion Fuel mixture that is both cheaper to manufacture than regular diesel fuel and which also drastically lowers emissions. This is exactly the type of alternative fuel that will enable Germany to comply with requirements while reaping economical benefits. According to Mr. Ireland, “In order for Germany to achieve its very ambitious goals, the implementation of a source such as Emulsion Fuel would seem to be the most logical and effective move.” He stated further, “Next Alternative has been a pioneer on this subject and understands the actionable steps necessary to comply with emissions requirements. With nuclear energy out of the picture, Germany needs to seriously consider Emulsion Fuel or the country could lag behind in progress and the ecology will suffer.”

NEXT ALTERNATIVE DECLINES $100 MILLION BUYOUT OFFER

(Ottawa, Ontario) Robert Ireland, CEO of Next Alternative, Inc. (N4H.XETRA), has announced that there were several key reasons behind the firm’s recent rejection of a major buyout offer.

Next Alternative (NAI) had been in negotiations with a private Canadian-based fuel company which tendered an unsolicited offer for the purchase of 100% of its deliverable shares for the price of $100 million.  Mr. Ireland commented, “Upon deep consideration, this seemingly outstanding offer provided no real liquidity for our shareholders.”  He added, “Furthermore, the agreement was not on or above par with the anticipated institutional investment we are currently receiving and finally, it called for a very long payout period. Bottom line, it was not the right move at this juncture”

At present, NAI is unable to disclose the identity of the bidder for its shares because it is bound by a non-disclosure agreement and remains in discussions with its potential suitor regarding better terms.

Mr. Ireland affirmed that in addition to its core mission of bringing better, smarter alternative energy solutions to the world, Next Alternative is constantly looking for exceptional opportunities that will benefit its investors and partners. Management scrutinizes every offer or partnership proposal seriously and thoroughly to ensure that it is in the best interest of the company and its stakeholders. With all its pioneering technology and products, Next Alternative is in a particularly strong position and is emerging as a major player in the industry. With this recognition will come more opportunities. While NAI Management is excited for the future in that regard, it remains dedicated to keeping the integrity of the company at its highest level.

NEXT ALTERNATIVE FILES NEW PATENTS FOR CARBON NANO TUBE TECHNOLOGY

(Ottawa, Ontario) Robert Ireland, CEO of Next Alternative, Inc. (N4H.XETRA), has relayed that the firm is currently delving deeper into Carbon Nano Tube (CNT) technology.

New patents filed by Next Alternative (NAI) are technical in nature and deal with the manufacture of an additive for Emulsion Fuel, as well as an additive for batteries.

With the constant rise in oil prices and no end in sight, the quest for an alternative source of energy has been put into high gear. Many industries are recognizing that Emulsion Fuel is emerging as one of the most, if not the most viable solution. NAI has been at the forefront of this technology having produced an Emulsion Fuel mixture at the ratio of 60% petroleum, 40% water and a minimal amount of stabilizing additive. It is this stabilizing agent which uses CNT technology that the firm is focused on in hopes of producing even more efficient and effective mixtures.

NAI is also concentrating heavily on CNT technology within its batteries. By using Carbon Nano Tubes properly, the reserve capacity of a lead acid battery increases by six times and the energy of rechargeable lithium batteries is doubled. This means more power over the battery’s lifespan with less charging. According to Ireland, “Times are changing and it is becoming increasingly imperative that we evolve and find new technologies that will address and solve some of the pressing problems regarding energy.” He continued by saying, “Carbon Nano Tube technology is definitely a source that is already producing promising results.”

NEXT ALTERNATIVE MAKING EXCITING PROGRESS WITH EMULSION FUEL

(Ottawa, Ontario) Robert Ireland, CEO of Next Alternative, Inc. (N4H.XETRA), is pleased to announce that the firm has been making significant headway in recent emulsion fuel tests.

Emulsion Fuel consists of water and petroleum blended on a sub-micron level. Next Alternative (NAI) has already successfully produced the mixture which it calls “NAI-Fuel” at a ratio of 60% fuel and 40% water and a small amount of stabilizing agent. Now the company reports that it is testing a mixture that is made up of the stabilizer and 50% fuel, 50% water. This is a very intriguing proposition as most competitors only use between 11% - 20% water. For instance, alternative energy companies in Singapore, a market heavily testing and promoting Em-Fuel, believe this fuel is where the trend is heading, but still are using only 20% water. Next Alternative is already way ahead of the curve!

Emulsion Fuel has proven to be a far cleaner source of energy that easily meets or exceeds all EPA requirements. In addition, it costs much less to manufacture than pre-processed fuels. Current testing is being done at Next Alternative’s Canadian plant in Akwesasne, Ontario. Burn rates have been most positive and all signs point to the new ratio being completely effective. A successful burn at 50/50 also implies that the world’s reserve fuel stocks could actually be doubled just by emulsifying the fuel. In the past, with oil spills, that fuel was ultimately wasted. Now it’s possible to take emulsified fuel from spills and recycle it through machines and turn it into burnable emulsified fuel. According to Ireland, “The new test results are extremely exciting and tremendously promising.” He stated further, “The implications to a wide variety of industries and facilities reliant upon diesel fuel is truly staggering. This could spark a major shift in the way fuel is manufactured and how it is used in the future.” NAI also reports that testing has begun on emulsifying bio-diesel and waste car oil.

NEXT ALTERNATIVE’S EMULSION FUEL SURPASSING EXPECTATIONS

(Ottawa, Ontario) Robert Ireland, CEO of Next Alternative, Inc. (N4H.Frankfurt), recently relayed that the firm has been testing a new formula of Emulsion Fuel that will have significant impact on a variety of energy-related industries.

Emulsion Fuel (Em-Fuel) consists of water and petroleum blended on a sub-micron level. Next Alternative (NAI) has already produced the mixture at a ratio of 60% fuel and 40% water – with a small amount of a stabilizing agent. Now the company reports that it is currently testing a mixture that includes an even 50% of both ingredients.

Em-Fuel has proven to be a cleaner source of energy that easily meets or exceeds all EPA requirements. In addition, it costs much less to manufacture than pre-processed fuels. The implications of Em-Fuel are vast and far-reaching. Our modes of transport – cars, buses, trains, ships, planes, as well as other implements powered by an internal-combustion engine such as generators and boilers, would require a fraction of diesel fuel currently being used.

According to Ireland, “Evolving emissions requirements, coupled with the high cost of manufacturing has already brought some companies to their knees. Next Alternative is poised to offer a sound solution that satisfies energy-related needs.” He further stated, “We are excited to be on the front lines of this emerging new energy and will continue to research in order to produce the most efficient and effective formulas available.”

The fact that large equipment manufacturers like Caterpillar are looking seriously at this alternative energy is a sure sign of the growing belief in its viability. This would appear to be only the tip of the iceberg. Next Alternative projects that a multitude of companies, spanning numerous industries, will soon seek to capitalize on the amazing benefits of Em-Fuel. Beyond that, when considering the future, it is likely that Em-Fuel will personally touch masses of consumers in some way.
